I’m a freelance journalist, copywriter and editor specialising in fashion, beauty, film and advertising. Over the past 10 years, I have written for award-winning consumer and business publications including Time Out, The Telegraph, Harrods Magazine and Dazed & Confused.
I cut my teeth as a lifestyle editor at Time Out Shanghai, where I spent three years covering China’s nascent fashion industry, reviewing restaurants and trying out weird and wonderful beauty treatments in the name of research.
Returning to the UK with a feral chihuahua in tow, I worked as a digital sub-editor at Harrods Magazine before moving into B2B journalism at shots, a leading publication for the creative industry (the lower case ‘s’ is deliberate. It’s advertising, darling).
As deputy editor, I travelled around the globe reporting on creative brands, people and marketing trends, launched a young talent initiative and chaired panels at D&AD, the Berlin Fashion Film Festival and Cannes Lions.
Since embracing freelance life, I write features for a range of digital and print titles. I also create long and short-form copy (everything from print advertorials to product descriptions) for brands in the fashion, beauty and lifestyle space.
